I. Introduction

OpenWise values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal data, as well as your rights concerning your information. Please read this policy carefully to understand our privacy practices.

II. Personal Information We Collect

1. Information You Provide

2. Information Collected Automatically

3. Advertising Identifier (Ad ID)

What is an Ad ID: An Advertising Identifier is a unique, user-resettable code provided by your mobile operating system (e.g., IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android) to identify your device within the app ecosystem. Its core purpose is to support advertising, campaign measurement, and user analysis while protecting user privacy.

How We Use the Ad ID: With your explicit authorization, we may use the Ad ID to show you more relevant and useful personalized advertisements; to measure ad impressions, clicks, and conversions to help advertisers optimize campaigns and evaluate their impact on user experience; and, on an anonymized and aggregated basis, to analyze user behavior patterns across different app scenarios to guide product optimization and feature improvements.

Our Safeguards for Ad IDs: We use Ad IDs only with your explicit consent. You can manage advertising tracking permissions via your device’s system settings at any time, including allowing or disabling tracking requests and resetting your Ad ID. When using Ad IDs for data analysis, we anonymize and de-identify the data to prevent direct linkage to your personal identity. We will not associate your Ad ID with your personal identification information (such as name, phone number, email) or other permanent device identifiers (such as IMEI, MAC address) unless we obtain your explicit permission. If you choose to limit ad tracking or reset your Ad ID, we will immediately cease related data collection and usage and delete historical data linked to that identifier.
